Nuala Shares ‘Second to None’ Surgery Story

“I’m a mother of four beautiful daughters, and for many years I’ve wanted a tummy tuck and a breast reduction, but I never thought I’d see it happen! I used to hate the way I looked, and so yet again I started the search for surgeries online, looking at pictures on the web. It’s then that I found Secret Surgery – and realised I might be able to make my dreams a reality!”

We’re glad to hear we inspired you with so much hope, Nuala. What happened next? “I got in contact with Angela Chouaib, the Managing Director of Secret Surgery, and found out how viable surgery with SS was – at a fraction of the price it would cost me in the UK! I realised that with SS, I could afford both a tummy tuck and a breast reduction, and for less than it would cost for one procedure in the UK!”

Wow! And what about the service you got from SS? “I had so many conversations with Angela Chouaib to put my mind at ease – and, I can assure you, she did just that. She invited me to join the SS Facebook group, and I felt even more assured after talking to ‘real’ patients that my experience with Secret Surgery would be great.”

“These were people that were going through exactly the same things as me, and I could tell this was the right thing to do. As soon as I made up my mind and paid my deposit, I could sit back and just let Angela take over – and that’s exactly what happened. I was so excited to see what would come next, and never for a moment did I regret my decision.”

“The service provided by Angela was, from start to finish, second to none. Angela talked me through everything, step by step, which quickly rules out any worries I might have had. It was totally genuine; she was both caring and professional, and I never felt like I was being pushed into things. All I had to do was turn up at the airport and fly to Wroclaw, and I was met there by Aga – a lovely, beautiful Polish lady, who took over from Angela, and explained everything to me.”

That certainly does sound like great service – we’re proud to know you feel that way. What happened next? “I was given a choice between a 4-star hotel and an apartment for my accommodation, and I chose the hotel. I was taken to the hospital for my medical, and introduced to Dr Wojciech Waclawowicz. After speaking to him, I felt even more confident about my decision; I knew I was in safe hands.”

“The care that I got before my procedure and after my ops was fantastic; the surgeon even came to see me in my private room and was there at all of my dressing changes.” We do try to offer a personal service at Secret Surgery. What about when you got back to the UK, though?

“Well, I’m back in the UK now, and I’m a very happy lady! I love the new me, and though it’s early days, as I’m stilling wearing my dressings and compression garments, I’m so excited to see the change once I’m in my normal clothes. My aftercare has continued into the UK, and I’ve loved the whole experience.”

Whew! That’s all excellent news; there’s nothing better than hearing your service is appreciated by patients. “I’m just bursting with things to say about my experience! If it helps others to take the plunge and make the decision they’ve always wanted to make – don’t be scared, ladies! It’s well worth it.
