Heartless Cosmetic Surgeons
We all remember that scene from Sex and the City where Samantha visits a cosmetic surgeon looking for breast implants – the one thing she thinks she needs to perfect her body. Five minutes in his office and he’s penned her entire body in red showing the areas he thinks she needs work done. Not very flattering is it?

Sadly this isn’t a ‘gag’ kept for sassy American TV shows, for fans of hit UK show Geordie Shores will know just how harsh some cosmetic surgeons can be. While doing research for her new MTV show Get Thin or Die Trying, Sophie Kasaei visited a plastic surgeon to ask him about the extremes the people in UK go to in their battle to lose weight. What she didn’t expect was for said medical professional to point out so many flaws in her body – an ordeal that was obviously very upsetting for the star.
The 21 year-old isn’t a stranger to receiving unfair comments about her body though. Social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook have allowed the public to send the star catty comments about her weight, which is exactly what led Kasaei to seek liposuction to get rid of a few pounds. Having been on various eating plans, the curvy star has always struggled to shift the flab from her stomach and with Geordie Shore’s hectic party lifestyle it can be hard to stay healthy – something a bit of lipo would work wonders on!
Reality TV stars are often pressured into surgery to improve their looks – practically all the ladies in rival show The Only Way is Essex have gone under the knife at some point. Just look at how different Amy Childs is since she first came into the public eye. Perhaps they wouldn’t feel so pressurised into drastically changing their bodies if surgeons were a little more caring.
